Vineeta Maruri is from Pennsylvania and is now based in NYC. They grew up in a conservative home, escaping to New York at age 17 as a queer femme person. Vineeta attended engineering college in the jungle of India for one year before returning to NY to pursue modelling.
Vineeta’s first job was Calvin Klein underwear campaign. They also graced the cover of Vogue Italia for its HOPE issue.
When not working, Vineeta loves to read, write poetry, and play sports (especially boxing in their trans boxing collective).
Vineeta’s true passion is mutual aid, supporting BLM protesters and fundraising for housing. They advocate for LGBTQ folks by curating sober safe spaces. Vineeta believes that world peace can truly be achieved through advocacy and food.
